SOURCED: Chris Haise Band
July 30, 2019 @ 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Sourced: A Locally Sourced Summer Concert Series
Sourced is a summer concert series hosted by a new venue in Walker’s Point called The Ivy House. The idea behind the series is to show that the Ivy House, the sponsors, and these amazing artists are committed to helping support and promote growth within the Walker’s Point Community. For every MobCraft Beer sold, $1 will be donated to the Walker’s Point Association – a group of residence, building, and business owners who are dedicated to the forward improvement of the relationships, businesses and safety of this neighborhood. Your ticket will not only get you in the door to see the show, but it will also get you a free beer! So what’s the hold up? Grab a ticket and come check out this beautiful new venue in the best neighborhood in Milwaukee!
The Milwaukee based Chris Haise Band’s music is a blend of hook filled ballads and toe tappers. Mixing Folk and Rock, Haise’s vocals have been described as Dylan meets Springsteen. Music Review Roulette recently said that Chris “is a wizard on the piano….that voice, he can command a room….if you haven’t seen them you definitely should, they are just incredible” In 2017, Chris Haise released a solo album entitled “Your Ugly Friends” which was nominated for 88Nine’s Music Awards for Album of the Year, Independent Release of the Year, and Solo Artist of the Year. He was also selected as NSAI “One to Watch” along with winning Dylan Days Singer/Songwriter Contest. Already in 2019 CHB became a WAMI award nominee on the steps of their newest album due out June 14th.
