Brewing Update: This Imperial Stout is Aging Away

10.31.18 – Well this is complicated! Half of the beer is still aging away and the second half has been brewed!! We will be adding more ingredients to the freshly brewed beer and blend in the barrel aged beer as soon as secondary fermentation is complete! The second brew went well. Loads of peanuts. Stay tuned!

9.26.18 – Barrels have been tasted! They are coming along nicely. About a month or so to go and we will be all set to brew the other half for the 50/50 blend! Can’t wait!!

4.11.18 – After a long wait for just the right barrels this beer is now transferred to its bourbon chambers for a long cryo like rest. We will wake it in six months to see how it is progressing. Stay tuned.

2.25.18 – Brew Day! The whole brewery smells like malty goodness and Belgian candi sugar. It is going to be difficult to wait for this beer to barrel age. Since is is such a big beer it will take a bit to fully ferment out before we transfer it into barrels for a long rest while it ages to absolute perfection. We will be back in touch when we are ready to transfer it to barrels!

1.28.18 – Liquid Dessert Imperial Stout Wins! This is an Imperial stout brewed with peanut butter, maple syrup and dark Belgian candi sugar. So good we are going to brew it twice! That is right, half of this beer will be barrel aged half will be brewed fresh and blended. YUMM!

Our crowdsourced beers are typically only brewed once! Once they are gone, they are gone! Be sure to order your 2 or 4pk today!
