Brewing Update: Island Inspired Stout is Aging Away
10.17.19 – Update! We just tasted the barrels and they are tasting great! We will be scheduling this for release in the next couple months.
7.11.19 – The barrels are coming along nicely! We will check them again in 3 months or so.
12.5.18 – Transfer Day – the beer is now tucked into barrels for the next few months. We will check in on this bute in 6 months or so. Stay tuned!
11.18.18 – BREW DAY! Stout for days. We can not wait to get this beer into barrels. We had a blast with Alex and his friends – sharing beers, eating food and of course brewing beer. Barrels are ordered and will be here soon!
10.31.18 – Wow! That was an interesting vote… We have two winners – Mahalo Mallow AND Peanuttin’ Butter Than This Chocolate Porter – You may have noticed the vote closed down early this month. Unfortunately, our system reverted to Greenwich Mean Time closing it earlier than normal. The two beers battling for first place were so close we had to call it a tie.
What does this mean? MORE BEER! We’re going to brew both! Since Mahalo Mallow is a barrel aged beer it will be brewed in the next month or so and released late 2019 while Peanuttin’ Butter Than This Chocolate Porter will be brewed in the next few weeks and released yet this year! Congratulations on an awesome beer idea Alex! Dreaming of this Island stout as we head into these cold winter months.
