Nick was nice enough to come over today to help out with the brew day! We had him helping out with a little bit of everything today. Along with Galaxy and cascade hops we tossed in crushed juniper berries into the boil during the whirlpool.
We also have a new mash tun screen that makes for a more efficient (read shorter) brew. We pitched yeast off of our 30bbl fermenter and and it started taking right off!
Really excited to see where this one takes us. We might yet add more juniper in during secondary but for now it smells pretty good!
