We added the spices to the beer last Friday, powdered cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg all went into the fermenter at crash cool and the chopped vanilla beans went in during the transfer on saturday. We carbed it up yesterday and it tastes delicious, the spice is subtle with a nice balance of sweet/bitter with a nice roast finish! I’m looking forward to bottling this tomorrow!
